Books on Love and Friendship

I believe that feeling confident is linked with having love and meaningful friendships in our lives.  A great way to talk to children about these topics is through reading a book together, and using the story as a springboard for discussion.  See the list of love and friendship-themed books here.

I will spend Valentine’s Day with my husband and adult children enjoying a meal an family time. We see them much too rarely these days. I would spend the $150 by giving it to my son who is going to Germany for a study abroad semester this summer. He is excited to explore other cultures while taking some college classes.

There are so many small ways every day. I go to all of my teenage daughters sports activities. They each help me with my little ones at times, especially if they notice I’m more tired than usual. My husband and I are always picking up little treats for each other.
