Author Giselle Shardlow and Kids Yoga Stories Announces the Launch of New Springtime Kids Yoga Book Rachel’s Day in the Garden
Each new season brings adventure for a growing child. Kids yoga book author Giselle Shardlow is ushering in spring in style with the release of her latest book, Rachel’s Day in the Garden. Combining a love for nature and movement, the book is the first of a new seasonal yoga books for kids series, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
Educators across the board agree—the earlier a child can be encouraged to love both the outdoors and healthy movement, the better. Kids Yoga Stories author Giselle Shardlow has taken this advice to heart. She recently announced the expansion of the long list of fun and exciting yoga books for kids available at Kids Yoga Stories, which now includes a series based on the changing seasons. The first release is titled . Written by Shardlow, the book is illustrated by the extremely talented Hazel Quintanilla. Aimed at children aged two to five, it has been met with open arms.
“We all agree that yoga for kids is an amazing thing, so naturally, we were inspired to combine yoga with outdoor fun and exploration,” commented Shardlow, who in addition to being a published author, is a certified yoga instructor with a long history of working as a child educator. “Video games and television aren’t the beginning and end of fun. There’s a whole world of fun out there! Our new series of stories was written with the hope of sharing the fun of kids yoga, a love of animals, and enjoying the seasons to their fullest.”
